The data
Is the volume Apple's or Google's real search count?
No. Neither store publishes search counts. Estimated volume is ASOMaster's model of the demand behind a phrase, built from the apps that rank for it. For real numbers, connect Apple Ads or Google Ads and they appear in their own column. See Metrics explained.
Where does real popularity come from?
From sources you connect with your own accounts: Apple Ads (Apple's search popularity per storefront), Google Ads Keyword Planner (Google web searches), or a CSV or Astro import. See Real popularity.
Which stores and countries are covered?
The App Store in 54 markets and Google Play in 53. Each keyword gets its own phrase in each market's language, and ranks are checked with live store searches in that market. New apps track 18 markets by default; you choose the rest.
How fresh are the ranks?
Each check runs live searches. Results are cached for the day per phrase and market, and checks can repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly. The stores limit how fast anyone can search, so big boards take a few minutes.
Can I track competitors?
Yes. Add any app as a rival from a store search or a link. Rankings also shows the apps ranking above you in each market, the keywords they beat you on, and a side-by-side of your name and subtitle against theirs.
Setup
Do I need App Store Connect or Play Console access?
No. Without it, ASOMaster reads your public store page. A connection adds your hidden keyword field, analytics and publishing. See App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
Will ASOMaster change my store listing on its own?
No. Listing drafts stay on your computer until you click Publish. Publishing fills a new App Store version or a Google Play edit; it never submits an App Store version for review. An AI agent asking to publish over MCP also needs your OK in a dialog in the app.
Which AI do I need?
One of Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode with a subscription you already have, a local model through Ollama, or an Anthropic API key. ASOMaster sells no AI credits. See AI providers.
Can my own AI agent use it?
Yes, through MCP: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Claude Desktop, Windsurf, OpenCode and other clients. See MCP for agents.
Privacy
Where is my data stored?
In a database on your computer. There is no ASOMaster account and no cloud sync. Store console and ads credentials are kept in your operating system's keychain and sent only to Apple or Google.
What does the app send to you?
Only what licensing and updates need (your license key, a device identifier, the computer's name and system), feedback you choose to send, and rank alert emails if you turn them on. Store searches go straight from your computer to Apple and Google, and AI requests straight to the provider you picked. Details: Privacy policy.
Can I keep AI processing on my computer?
Yes. Choose Ollama and the model runs locally; nothing is sent to an AI provider.
Billing
How much does it cost?
ASOMaster Pro is €15.99 a month or €49 a year. VAT is added at checkout based on your country; businesses can enter a VAT ID. Payment runs through Stripe. See Pricing.
Is there a free trial?
No. The monthly plan is the low-commitment way to try it: cancel before the next renewal and you won't be charged again.
How do I cancel or switch plans?
In the app, open Settings › License and devices › Manage subscription. The billing portal lets you cancel, switch between monthly and yearly, update your card and download invoices. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens if a payment fails?
The app keeps working while the card is retried, for up to seven days after the first failed payment. Update the payment method from Manage subscription, or from the message in the app, to keep going.

License and computers
How many computers can I use?
Two at a time per license. To move to a new computer, deactivate the old one in Settings › License and devices, or free its slot on the web. See License and computers.
Does it work offline?
Your boards and drafts are on your computer, so you can read and edit them offline. The license is renewed online about once a day and stays valid for up to seven days without a connection. Rank checks, AI and publishing need the internet anyway.
I lost my license key
Enter your purchase email at asomaster-api.cressu.com/license and we'll email the key again. The same page lists the computers a key is active on and can free a slot.
Which systems are supported?
macOS 13 or later, as one universal app for Apple Silicon and Intel, signed and notarized. A Windows 64-bit beta is available; it isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn the first time. See Getting started.
