License and computers

One ASOMaster Pro subscription gives you one license key. The key works on two computers at a time.

Enter your key to see the computers it is active on, then deactivate the one you no longer use.

Both forms open our license server at asomaster-api.cressu.com. Your key is sent only in the form body, never in the address.

Activate a computer

  1. Subscribe. Your key arrives by email right after checkout.
  2. Open ASOMaster and paste the key on the activation screen.
  3. The app registers this computer with a key that stays in the system keychain. That ties the activation to this computer, so a copied settings folder won't activate another one.

Two computers per key

Use the same key on two computers, for example a desktop and a laptop. If you activate a third, the app asks which existing computer to replace. Using one key on more computers at the same time than that, or sharing it, can get the key limited.

Move to a new Mac

  1. On the old computer: Settings, License, Deactivate this computer.
  2. No access to the old computer any more? Use Free a computer slot above.
  3. On the new computer: install ASOMaster and paste the key.

Your keyword data lives on the old computer. Export what you need before you wipe it. Store and ads keys stay in the old computer's keychain, so connect your consoles again on the new one.

Working offline

The app checks the license about once a day. Between checks it keeps working offline for up to 7 days. After that it asks to go online once to renew; nothing is lost in the meantime. Rank checks and AI work need the internet anyway.

Renewals, failed payments and cancelling

  • Renewal. Stripe charges at the start of each month or year and the license extends automatically. There's a 48-hour grace period around each renewal, so a slow bank never locks you out.
  • Failed payment. Stripe retries and emails you a link to update the card. The app keeps working for 7 days after the first failure, then asks you to renew.
  • Cancelling. Cancel in the billing portal (Settings, License, Manage subscription). You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Coming back. While a payment is overdue, renew from the app and the same key keeps working. After a subscription has ended, subscribe again. Your local data is untouched either way.

Refunds

Refund terms are in the terms of service. A refunded payment ends the license it paid for. Questions: asomaster@cressu.com.

Updates

Every release published while your subscription is active installs from inside the app. The app verifies each update's signature before it installs it.
