Google Play ASO tool
ASOMaster tracks your Google Play keyword ranks in up to 53 markets, each searched in its own language, on the same board it uses for the App Store. It drafts your title, short description and full description around measured phrases, counts how often each phrase appears, and writes the change to Play Console as an edit when you publish.

How is Google Play ASO different?
Google Play has no hidden keyword field. The text people see carries your phrases: a 30-character title, an 80-character short description and a 4,000-character full description. Every word you add for search also has to read well, and Google's metadata policy rules out keyword lists, ranking or price claims in the title, and misleading text. The Google Play ASO guide covers each field.
What ASOMaster does for Google Play
- Rank tracking in 53 markets, with movement, history, rivals above you and rank alerts, exactly as on the App Store. Apple and Google projects stay separate, because the same app ranks differently in each store.
- Listing drafts for the title and short description, scored for reach and difficulty against your live listing, with field limits enforced.
- Description drafts with phrase counts. The Copy step shows how often each target phrase appears in the live description and in the draft, so you can spread coverage instead of repeating one phrase.
- Policy checks for platform names in the title and short description, and for claims like "best", "top", "free" or "#1" in the title.
- Publishing writes a Google Play edit through the Play Developer API with a service account you set up (setup guide). Google reviews listing changes on its own schedule; ASOMaster never changes anything until you click Publish.
- Store data from Play Console: store listing visitors and acquisitions per country, from the reports Play Console exports. Google doesn't export impressions or traffic sources there, so the view says so instead of guessing.

Where does Google Play demand data come from?
Google publishes no Play Store search counts. ASOMaster estimates volume and difficulty from each market's Play search results, and if you connect Google Ads Keyword Planner it adds Google's average monthly web searches as a separate, labelled signal. That measures interest on Google web search, not searches inside the Play Store, so it is a tie-breaker between phrasings rather than a count. More in Real popularity.
