About ASOMaster

ASOMaster is made by Cressu OÜ, a small software company in Tallinn, Estonia. Its founder, Tarek Hosni, is an indie developer who ships his own apps on the App Store and Google Play and built ASOMaster to do the app store optimization for them. It is a desktop app on purpose: your keywords, rankings and listings stay in a database on your own Mac or PC.

Why was it built?

An indie developer with a couple of apps needs the same answers a large publisher does: which phrases people search in each country, where the app ranks for them, who is in the way, and what to write in thirty characters. The cloud suites that answer those questions are priced and built for teams. ASOMaster started as the tool Tarek wanted for his own apps: every market searched in its own language, real Apple Ads and Google Ads popularity next to the estimates, listing drafts measured before they ship, and AI through the tools he already used.

ASOMaster is used on Cressu's own apps, so its features are tested on real listings before they ship:

How does it work?

  • Local first. Rank checks are made from your computer and stored there. Store credentials go into your operating system's keychain. See privacy.
  • Estimates are labelled as estimates. ASOMaster's volume and difficulty are modelled from store search results; real popularity from Apple Ads or Google Ads appears in its own column and is never mixed in. Metrics explained shows how each number is made.
  • Nothing goes live without you. Listings, screenshots and prices reach App Store Connect or Play Console only when you start it, and ASOMaster never submits an app for review.
  • Your AI, your choice. AI features run on Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Grok Build, Antigravity CLI, Ollama or an Anthropic API key.
